In anticipation of Thanksgiving Day, volunteers all over Plant City worked to gather food and basic necessities for those less fortunate this holiday season.
Raulerson & Co., P.A. staff volunteered at the United Food Bank filling bags of food for its clients Thursday, Nov. 20.
The Cub Scouts of Pack 5 collected non-perishable food items for the United Food Bank of Plant City. The cub scouts asked members of their family and friends for donations. They met on Nov. 17 to organize the food at American Legion Post 26.
Members of the Plant City Masonic Lodge Free Masonry and Order of the Eastern Star held the second annual turkey drive Nov. 22 at several locations around Plant City, including 208 Maryland Ave., the Olin S. Wright Masonic Lodge 206 and St. Luke Baptist Church.
