Tanya Tucker cancels Florida Strawberry Festival concert, John Anderson to play

Tanya Tucker has canceled her Friday, March 11, performance at the 2016 Florida Strawberry Festival. John Anderson will play the 3:30 p.m. show.

"Ms. Tucker has been admitted to the hospital due to complications from bronchitis," Paul Davis, Florida Strawberry Festival general manager, said. "She hates to disappoint her fans but needs to focus on her health."

Anderson, a native of Apopka, Fla., is best known for his hits Swingin', Seminole Wind, Straight Tequila Night, Money in the Bank and more. He has recorded 23 albums, including 60 singles and 10 top 10 hits and is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Tickets already purchased to Tanya Tucker's show can be used for John Anderson's show or can be refunded in full by 2:30 p.m. on March 11, Davis said. Refund requests and questions about the show should be directed to the festival's Amscot Main Ticket Office located at 2209 W. Oak Avenue in Plant City. The ticket office can also be reached at (813) 719-6680 or through email at customerserv@flstrawberryfestival.

Tickets to John Anderson's show can be purchased for $15 and $20 at FlStrawberryFestival.com, over the phone or at the Amscot Main Ticket Office.

"John Anderson has one of the most recognizable voices in country music and is a terrific entertainer," Davis said. "He is excited to play at our festival and will be a great addition to our lineup."
