Sarah Celeste Harrison, 89, died April 30, 2015, in Jacksonville.
She was born Oct. 27, 1925, in Plant City. Mrs. Harrison graduated from Florida State University when it was an all-women’s college. She was a teacher in Duval and St. Johns counties, finishing her career at Neese High School. She was the loving wife of the late Frederick Harrison, who died in January 2002.
She is survived by her sons, Frederick William Bill and James Wesley Jim Harrison; and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
