George Vernon Lockwood, Jr., of Plant City, died May 22, 2015.
Mr. Lockwood was a retired non-commissioned officer with the United States Army, having served honorably in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Lockwood (Tom), Heather Lockwood (Ron), Sheri Spencer (David), and Susie Gainous; grandchildren, Skylar Lockwood, Renea Saylor, Lea Jones, Zeke Gainous, Woodrow Gainous and Blake Spencer; great-grandchildren, David Jones, Piper Jones, Bentley Farmer, Hadley Morgan, and Nate Spencer; and siblings Gary Lockwood, Shirley Valazza and Sandy Lockwood. Mr. Lockwood was preceded in death by his parents, George V. and Mildred Lockwood, Sr.
