A motorcyclist died from injuries sustained after running into a UPS truck Nov. 4.
Brent Lee Lance, 30, of Plant City, was traveling eastbound on Keysville Road, east of Turkey Creek Road, on his 1998 Honda Shadow motorcycle. He drove off the south road edge and struck a UPS truck head on.
The driver of the truck, John Bailey, 50, of Lakeland, was parking off the southern road edge to make a delivery to 2511 Keysville Road. The motorcycle and Lance landed a short distance away in the grass shoulder.
Lance was transported by ground to Lakeland Regional Hospital where he died from his injuries shortly after arrival. The driver of the UPS truck was not injured.
The investigation continues into the cause of the crash.
