The Plant City Elks Lodge No. 1727 will host its Flag Day Ritual at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at the lodge, 1501 N. Alexander St.
The Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks is the first and only fraternal body to require formal observance of Flag Day. The ceremony features every version of the U.S. flag, carried in by local scouts and veterans.
Flag Day is Saturday, June 14.
