YMCA to offer free family counseling classes

Plant City Family YMCA will offer family counseling classes as part of its “Y Family Matters” series, an educational resource for families that focuses on building and rebuilding family relationships, including marital, parent to child and blended families. In a supportive, question and answer format, licensed marriage and family therapist Tim Gregory and parenting experts Jim and Sandra Carter will help families discover new ways to communicate, resolve conflicts and establish a solid foundation.

The classes are free and open to the public. Free childcare is provided.

Topic:  Let’s Talk About Sex: Bringing Intimacy Back into Relationships

Speaker: Time Gregory, marriage and family counselor

Tim Gregory

Tim Gregory is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a real passion for meeting people where they are at and helping them grow to their full potential within their own community. He has 17 years of experience in this helping profession and considers it a privilege to walk with people on their roads to success. He has been married for 25 years to his wife, and they have four teenagers he enjoys trying to keep up with.

Jim and Sandra Carter

Jim and Sandra Carter are co-creators of the Raising Incredible Kids parenting curriculum, and have been involved in teaching and mentoring parents for over 18 years. They are both active speakers, writers, bloggers and teachers. They have been married for 24 years and are the parents of three children. Raising Incredible Kids was born from their passion for Christ and the passion that He has given them for families all over the world.
