Three seats are up for grabs on the Walden Lake Community Association board. The election will be held beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at Plant City Church of God, 2103 Mud Lake Road, during the annual membership meeting.
The board has been operating one member short since fJim Chancey resigned in November 2014 after serving as president for seven months. His seat is open, as well as that of member Bruce Rodwell, who has chosen not to run again. Former president Jan Griffin’s seat has also expired. She has chosen to run for reelection.
Each seat is appointed for a term of three years.
In addition to Griffin, eight new candidates are running for the three open positions on the board: Lynn Buehler, Robert Farkas, Joshua Hall, Blake Meinecke, Dan Orrico, Daniel Pinero, Robert Rogers and Dave Sollenberger.
