Two suspects were arrested Wednesday, March 11, for a series of burglaries that occurred in February.

On February 23, a burglary occurred at 1130 Radison Ave. in Sun City.  Norris pried the front door open, breaking the door frame, according to a sheriff’s report. Once inside the residence, he stole jewelry valued at over $15,000.

He pawned a pearl necklace and a gold necklace February 28 at South Shore Jewelers and received $115.  The victim positively identified both necklaces as belonging to her.

Norris had signed a second hand dealers form, which stated that he was the rightful owner of the property that he sold.  A thumb print was obtained under the sellers original agreement. It was verified by an HCSO detective.

On February 26, Norris and Cameron pried open the rear utility room door of a home in Plant City.  They emptied jewelry into a pillow case and removed multiple firearms from the home. One of the firearms was a Smith & Wesson revolver.

On March 2, detectives arrived at 6010 Williams Road in regards to an unrelated burglary, and came into contact with Norris and Cameron.

Cameron was found to be in possession of some of the victim’s stolen jewelry and the listed stolen revolver.  The victim was contacted and responded to view the property. They identified the recovered jewelry and firearm to be her property.

Photographs of the pawned jewelry were presented to the victim, who identified the jewelry as their own.
