Sunshine Bank made a donation of $725 to the United Food Bank of Plant City. After recent renovations, Sunshine Bank held an employee auction, where employees purchased furniture and artwork through donations.
“It is truly a pleasure and honor to show our support to an organization that continues to encourage, help and impact the lives of those in the community,” Vice President Nick Thurston said. “Sunshine Bank has been a part of the Plant City community for over 60 years, and we look forward to continuing to build relationships and positively impact lives.”
Through participating in programs such as Feeding America and Nutrition Outreach, the United Food Bank is truly making a difference.
“The United Food Bank has a vision to stamp out hunger and raise the standard of living for the needy,” Marsha Passmore, president of the United Food Bank board, said. “We are very grateful for the generous donation Sunshine Bank has provided which will continue to help those who are in need.”
