A "berry" familiar face will lead the Florida Strawberry Festival's next Grand Parade.
Berry Fine Productions announced Wednesday that Helen Parke will serve as the 2016 Grand Marshal. Parke, 90, is best-known as the matriarch of the Parkesdale Farms family.
"Ms. Parke is the Queen of Plant City, and you cannot think of Plant City without thinking of the Parke Family, so we are very proud to have her lead our Parade through the streets of Plant City," president Gail Lyons said in a statement.
The parade is scheduled for March 7, 2016.
