Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detectives are on scene of what appears to be a homicide tonight, at 3220 Bruton Road, Plant City.
According to Sheriff’s Office reports, at about 5:38 p.m. Sept. 8, deputies responded to the address in reference to a male who had been shot in the leg. The male was at the end of the driveway to the property and was discovered by a neighbor. The male resides at the Bruton Road address.
Detectives have interviewed the male and at this time; he has not been forthcoming with detectives with information. Detectives are attempting to confirm his identity. He was transported by EMS to a local hospital.
He told detectives his friend was at the residence, and he was deceased. While detectives were searching for the victim’s friend, they discovered a large marijuana grow operation on the property. The deceased male victim was found on the back porch area of the house.
Detectives are now in the process of obtaining a search warrant to continue the investigation, and the medical examiner has been notified.opengl32 multihack
