The Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting Tuesday, June 23, for Simply Events at the Plant City Chamber of Commerce. Simply Events produces and promotes events, including several annual events in Plant City. These events include The Mid Florida Summer Home Shows with the Taste of Plant City in July and The Holiday Gift Expo and Cookie Fest in November. Simply Events has also started a new division that specializes in corporate and private events. With these events, Simply Events’ goal is to bring new business to the Plant City area while at the same time sponsoring fun events in the Plant City community.
