Beginning July 7, a lane on W. Reynolds Street will be closed between Acacia Drive and N. Alexander Street. The estimated date the lane closure will end is August 14. Detours will take drivers only a couple of blocks off of W. Reynolds.
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be replacing a box culvert on W. Reynolds Street. However, a six-inch water main is on top of the culvert, and Plant City has to relocate the water main so FDOT can proceed with its project. Plant City’s work is projected to be completed by October 16. FDOT plans to begin the box culvert replacement early in 2026.
