Traffic Crash
On Dec. 9, a car crash at North Alexander Street and North Franklin Street, in Plant City, led to one fatality.
The incident was reported to law enforcement at 11:45 a.m. When the Plant City Police and Fire Rescue crew arrived, it was determined that one of the drivers had passed away at the scene.
The crash is still an ongoing investigation.
Shooting Incident
A woman had sustained a gunshot wound after someone had opened fire on Dec. 10, in Plant City.
At 12:25 p.m., authorities were informed of the shooting which took place at the 100 block of West Ball Street.
The woman who was found injured had suffered a non-life-threatening wound to her right leg.
Currently the suspect remains at large and there’s still an active investigation.
