The Plant City Recreation and Parks Department announced Tuesday that it will be hosting a three-day Softball Academy next week.
From Monday, July 25, through Wednesday, July 27, kids age 6 through 16 can improve their softball skilsl with collegiate athletes Makensie McAvoy, Kristen Wyckoff and Rachel Dwyer. Hitting, fielding, pitching, baserunning, throwing and sliding techniques will be covered.
