PCHS baseball hits milestones

Tuesday’s 8-2 win over Hillsborough was doubly special for the Plant City Raiders baseball team.

For starters, the win was the 19th of the Raiders’ season. No other team in Raiders history has won more than 18 games in a season. In addition to that milestone, the win was also the 100th of head coach Mike Fryrear’s career with the school. Fryrear’s accomplishment was honored on the field after the final out and he was presented with a plaque to commemorate the occasion.
