A juvenile armed with a rifle was arrested after detectives saw him exiting his residence on Jap Tucker Road in Plant City.
HCSO detectives had obtained probable cause charges after previously serving a search warrant on the suspect’s cell phone. On October 16, detectives saw the 17-year-old suspect leaving his residence in his vehicle with the rifle. After a traffic stop, deputies obtained probable cause to search his vehicle and residence, where they found:
- 3 rifles
- $34,000 in cash
- Nearly 120 pounds of THC resin
- 500 grams of vegetative cannabis
- Multiple rounds of ammunition
The suspect is facing multiple charges, including Delivery of a Controlled Substance Within 1000 feet of a Park, Community Center, or Recreational Facility; Minor in Possession of a Firearm; and Armed Possession of Controlled Substance.
