On Monday, August 31, the Plant City Police Department received a 911 call reporting a shooting at the Taco Bell located at 371 N. County Line Rd. As officers responded to the scene, they were informed that an individual had been transported to a local hospital with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
A second 911 call was received from this individual, who indicated their involvement in the incident related to the shooting at the Taco Bell. Officers met with this person without incident, and they are cooperating with the investigation.
Currently, there is no threat to the community, and the investigation is ongoing.
