On October 10, at approximately 12:22 p.m., officers from the Plant City Police Department (PCPD) responded to a 911 call reporting a possibly deceased male subject in the creek at Rowena Mays Park located within the 1300 block of W. Risk St. Upon police arrival, officers located an adult male on the bank of the creek. Life saving measures were attempted, including the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), were made, but no pulse was detected.
The identity of the individual is being withheld as the circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation, and no further details are available currently.
