Rodney Mackey Sr. and Valerie Mackey are proud to announce the graduation of their daughter, Dr. DeShaydia (Shay) Mackey, from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. Shay is a graduate of Durant High School and basketball standout, where she earned MVP honors for four years and received an academic scholarship to The University of Tampa.
Shay was a stand-out player on the U.T. Women’s basketball team for four years and graduated with a degree in biology.
Her family and the Bealsville community are very proud of Shay’s accomplishments.
