The Raiders win their last regular season game.

The Plant City Raiders needed to get back in the win column after losing three of their last four games. They hosted the 3-6 Newsome Wolves on Friday.
The Raiders received the opening kickoff, starting at the 29-yard line. After a short run, Ta’Vare Miller completed a pass to Adam Robinson for a huge gain, as he was tackled at the Wolves’ 30. Miller then found Jamir Stready for a gain of 7. Miller went to the end zone for Robinson, and while it was incomplete, pass interference on the Wolves made it first down at the 12-yard line. The Wolves sent a blitz on first down, and Miller escaped the pocket for the Raiders’ touchdown. After the extra point, it was 7-0 with 10:18 left in the first.

The Wolves’ first drive got to the 30-yard line. The first run was quickly stopped by the Raiders Da’Zariyan Jenkins. After an incomplete and short run, the Wolves had a 3-and-out and were forced to punt. After a short run, Miller found Terrance Queen for a first down. Maurian Hugee had back-to-back 5-yard runs for the Raiders’ first down. Miller found Robinson again for their second big connection of the game, this time he was tackled right outside the Wolves’ 30-yard line. The following play was incomplete, followed by a 7-yard run. A Wolves offside penalty gave the Raiders a fresh set of downs. Miller’s pass was incomplete in the end zone, then he ran it for 7 to make it third and 3. Another Wolves penalty gave up another first down. A tipped ball was intercepted on the following play by the Wolves. They took over at their own 4-yard line with 3:10 left in the first.
The Wolves had back-to-back losses on run plays, bringing up third and long. The pass was incomplete, and they were forced to punt.

The Raiders started the drive at the Wolves’ 46-yard line. Miller found Robinson again, this time on a slant play to the Wolves 33. Hugee had a big run to end the first quarter with the Raiders up 7-0. Maurian Hugee struck again, this time with a 5-yard rushing touchdown. The Raiders extended the lead to 14-0 with 11:52 left in the half.
The Wolves started the drive at the 38-yard line after a nice return. The Wolves fumbled at their own 40-yard line, and the Raiders recovered with 10:55 left in the half.
After two incomplete passes, Miller found Haven Pierce for the first down. Then, the Raiders had a short run and two incomplete passes. The Raiders went for it on 4th and the QB was sacked.
They turned the ball over with 9:30 left in the half. After two short throws, a personal foul on the Raiders was called. On the next play, a defensive holding was called on the Raiders. After a third Raiders penalty in a row, a timeout was called with 7:34 left in the half. A bad snap sent the Wolves back, making it second and goal. The following pass was incomplete, making it third and goal at the 15. Another Wolves fumble on the snap made it 4th and goal at the 23. The Raiders blocked the field goal and took over near midfield with 5 minutes left in the half.
Miller found Pierce for a 9-yard screen, putting them on the Wolves’ side of the field. After a short run and an incomplete pass, the Raiders lined up to go for it on 4th. The Raiders ran it and converted. Miller found Robinson again for a first down, putting the Raiders at the 20-yard line. The following two plays were incomplete, bringing up third and 10. Miller threw an interception in the end zone.
The Wolves took over at the 20-yard line with 1:28 left in the half. After two short runs, the Raiders called a timeout with 30 seconds left in the half. The Raiders got the ball back at midfield after a turnover on downs, with 17 seconds left in the half. Miller found Queen for a first down, and that ended the half with the Raiders up 14-0.
The Wolves started the first drive of the second half at the 27-yard line. They started strong with a nice run for the first down. It was third and long after an incomplete pass, followed by a short run. The Wolves tried running, but it was unsuccessful. They punted, and the Raiders took over at their own 20-yard line with 9:47 left in the third.
The Raiders started the drive with a nice 10-yard run. After a run for no gain, a completion of four yards made it third and 6. After the Raiders got the first down on the run, more yards were added after a Wolves personal foul. Another penalty on the Wolves moved the Raiders to the 24-yard line. Miller found Robinson, making it first and goal at the 1. Terrel Davis checked in at RB and scored the touchdown. It was 21-0 Raiders with 7:02 left in the third. The Raiders attempted an onside kick, but it was unsuccessful, so the Wolves got great field position.
The Wolves connected on back-to-back plays, putting them in the Raiders’ red zone. A timeout was called with 6:01 in the third. After an incomplete pass, Te’Marce Miller tackled the Wolves RB for a loss, bringing up a third and long. Masiyah Limehouse got an interception in the end zone for the Raiders, and they took over at the 20 with 5:08 left in the third.
After three straight incompletions, the Raiders punted it on a 3-and-out.
The Wolves started the drive at the 30 thanks to a Raiders personal foul. They found a wide open WR, and it was first and goal at the 6-yard line. The Wolves fumbled into the end zone thanks to a nice strip by Zion Walden. It went out of bounds, so the Raiders got the ball back at the 20 with 2:10 left in the third.
Jamir Stready had a gain of 3, followed by a loss of 5 on the run. Miller found Robinson on a slant pass to midfield for the first down. Miller scrambled for a first down, ending the third quarter with the score 21-0, Raiders.
The Raiders started the fourth with a deep attempt, but it was incomplete. After a short run, a timeout was called with 11:07 left in the game. Miller found Terrance Queen for the first down. Miller then threw a screen to Ty’one Cooper for 5 yards, followed by Miller running for 4 yards. On third and 1, Cooper got it again and got the first down. Miller then found Andrew Perez wide open in the end zone for the Raiders’ touchdown. It was then 27-0 after the missed 2-point conversion with 7:27 left in the game.
The Wolves got the ball at the 15-yard line due to penalties on the kickoff. After a short run, the following two plays were incomplete, and the Wolves punted.
Oscar Valdez blocked the punt, and the Raiders took over in Wolves territory with 6:16 left in the game. Terrel Davis had a nice run for 20 yards, putting them at the Wolves’ 16. Henderson found Austin Sparkman for a one-yard gain. On the next play, the Raiders’ backup was sacked. Henderson ran for a few yards. On 4th and 15, the Raiders lined up to go for it. The Raiders turned it over with 2:05 left in the game.
Masiyah Limehouse got the pick 6 for Plant City, his second interception of the game. With the extra point, it was 34-0 Raiders with 1:54 left to play. The Raiders kicked it off, and there was a flag on the Raiders. The penalty moved the Wolves to midfield. After a short run, an injury timeout was called with 1:32 left in the game. Newsome had back-to-back big runs, putting them right outside the Raiders’ red zone with 51 seconds left. The Wolves completed it for the first down with 32 seconds left. Oscar Valdez blocked the following pass, bringing up second and goal. The next play was incomplete in the end zone. The Wolves scored a touchdown with 15 seconds left in the game.
