Plant City kicked off the 2013 season with a win Friday on the road, defeating Steinbrenner 25-10.
The Raiders struggled with turnovers and penalties early in the first half, but scored two touchdowns in the final five minutes of the second quarter to take a 18-10 halftime lead.
Quarterback Landon Galloway threw for a touchdown and ran for two scores in the win.
Plant City will open its home schedule next week against Wharton.
