The Wish Farms Soundstage rocked at full force Wednesday night when classic rock legends STYX returned to the Florida Strawberry Festival.
The band kept the audience on the edge of its seat with an energetic set featuring cuts from its latest release, “The Mission,” and a full suite of iconic hits like “Come Sail Away,” “Blue Collar Man,” “Mr. Roboto” and “Renegade.”
Before STYX’s set, the festival hosted its annual Honoring American Heroes event. The celebration specifically recognizes local veterans onstage and a tribute video is played as members past and present of each branch of service are asked to stand and be recognized as their branches’ themes are played. The RedHead Express performed the Star-Spangled Banner and Plant City High School’s JROTC presented the colors.
