Plant City High School students presented performances in honor of Black History Month Thursday evening.
Students sang, read poems, danced and acted out moments throughout history like the persecution faced during pre-civil war, the Civil Rights Movement, the Harlem Renaissance and more. Gentlemen’s Quest gave inspirational speeches and performed a step sequence and the evening ended with students sitting side by side on stage and singing “A Change is Gonna Come.”
