The graduating class of Simmons Career Center arrived at the Florida State Fairgrounds early in the morning on May 26 for their 8 a.m. graduation.
Students from multiple schools left their cars, took pictures with friends and family and finished slipping on their caps and gowns as they made their way to the gates of the event center. When the gates were unlocked, students from each graduating school lined up with their respective classes and waited to be waved through the doors.
Simmons’ students were the first ushered into the event center and they quickly found their seats, filled their section and took in their final moments together as the senior class of 2021 while awaiting the start of the graduation ceremony.
