The annual Lights of Love celebration drew hundreds to downtown Plant City to watch Santa and Mrs. Claus light the decorations throughout the city.
The ceremony was held in McCall Park and families were able to take pictures with Santa and watch performances by the youth and children’s choir from First Baptist Church of Plant City. Lights are strewn throughout the city and the annual event acts as a fundraiser for the South Florida Baptist Hospital Foundation.
There are over 200 lighted decorations throughout the city and the city typically begins erecting the pieces following the Empty Bowls Fundraiser in November.
