Christmas spirit was in the air Saturday morning at Alafia River State Park when the GFWC Plant City Junior Woman's Club hosted its annual 5K Reindeer Run.
Local runners turned up to take on the park's equestrian trail decked in their finest Christmas attire and raised money for the club's Shoe Project, which donates new shoes and socks to underprivileged students at 15 local elementary schools.
