Durant High School hosted eight area marching bands Oct. 12, at its annual FMBC West Coast Invitational competition.
H.B. Plant High School’s Golden Regiment (Class 4A) was crowned grand champion for its show, “Exotica.” Class 1A winner was Calvary Christian, while Riverview High School took first in Class 3A.
Other participants included Mulberry (4A), Lake Gibson (3A), Anclote (1A), Hardee (1A) and Belleview (1A).
Durant performed its 2013 show, “Kaleidoscope,” in exhibition at the end of the night.
