Families from as far away as Seminole enjoyed barbecue, live music and much more April 13, during the Boyette family’s benefit for the Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation.
The fundraiser was the way Kim and James Boyette decided to celebrate the first birthday of their twin daughters, Kaitlyn and Kourtney. Diagnosed with TTTS 19 weeks into the pregnancy, the twins survived thanks to laser surgery.
Several other families who have battled TTTS attended the fundraiser.
