Students, faculty and parents from the community volunteered for groundskeeping work at Tomlin Middle School the morning of July 31, 2014. Some students earned service hours for National Junior Honor Society or the International Baccalaureate Program.
Abeba Salter-Woods, assistant principal for administration at Tomlin, directed the beautification event. “It’s sweaty work, but it’s much needed and we really appreciate it,” she said.
