PHOTO GALLERY: Tomlin Celebrates Straight “A” Students

Maintaining a perfect grade point average all year is no easy feat, but dozens of Tomlin Middle School students managed to do just that.

The dedicated sixth, seventh and eighth graders who earned straight-A's all year were celebrated on the last day of school Friday, June 10. Each student was given a lock engraved with their name and grade level denoting their success. The students 'locked their achievements' on a gate grid in the main hallway of the school. The event was created by PTSA President, Di Lott.

Locks for each grade level were made in each of the school colors: blue, orange and black.
