Des’ Aimes Social Club and Plant City Black Heritage hosted the 14th annual Santa Sled Festival at Samuel W. Cooper Park Saturday, Dec. 20. Kiwanis Club of Plant City donated toys so that 487 children could receive gifts this Christmas, which was the highest number of children Santa Sled has ever served. Food, clothing and school supplies also were available for members of the community.
Additional sponsors were Evangelic Deliverance of Lakeland, Super Choice Grocery, C&S Warehouse, ButterKrust Bakery, Plant City Colts Football League and Lester Brown and Friends.
