The Plant City High School volleyball team ended its season Wednesday, falling to George Jenkins 3-0 in the regional quarterfinals.
The Lady Raiders fell in straight sets to George Jenkins, 25-13, 25-11, 25-21. George Jenkins is a senior-loaded team, with five seniors and six juniors, while Plant City had no seniors and only two juniors who start.
Plant City ends the year at 8-9 overall, but qualified for regionals in Thornton’s first year with the team.
