The moment these Plant City High School students had waited four years for finally came Wednesday afternoon.
But, now they should be called “alumni.”
The Raiders and their families occupied the Expo Hall at the Florida State Fairgrounds for the first of three graduation ceremonies on the day. In addition to speeches given by Principal Colleen Richardson, Valedictorian Dhara Patel and Salutatorian Samir Patel, the pre-walk ceremony got a little musical. Denna Lemelin, Adriana Fasano and Tyler Garren sang an inspirational song called “Wake Me Up.”
