On Thursday, Feb. 16, Plant City High School students taught a history lesson to a packed auditorium.
In honor of Black History Month, the school hosted a Black History Showcase highlighting important periods of black history in Africa and America. Students read poems, danced, sang songs and performed bits based on eras including the beginning of history, slavery, the Harlem Renaissance, the Civil Rights Movement and more.
