The Photo Archives and History Center hosted their 2013 Heritage Award Soiree, Thursday, March 28.
The recipient was J. Myrle Henry who has received such distinguished awards as the 2001 Outstanding Citizen of the Year and the 2007 Attwood Award for Civic Leadership. Henry has been affiliated with local historical organizations for many years and has served as director and president of the East Hillsborough Historical Society. He is the founder of the Florida Opry and of the Strawberry Classic Car Show.
