Plant City Community Chorale performed a program called “Music Lifts Our Hearts” Saturday, April 18. The overall theme of the concert was love, in the midst of life’s emotions from sorrow to joy. The 27-member choir performed a variety of genres, from classical to gospel. For the first time, the choir sang a piece in Spanish.
Claudia Bolaño became the PCCC’s new artistic director in January 2015. Though she had worked with the chorale once a few years ago, this was her first concert as its sole conductor.
