PHOTO GALLERY: Olin S. Wright Lodge Recognition Night

For more than 40 years, Plant City's Masons have gathered on the third Thursday in November for an awards dinner honoring public servants in Plant City and stand-out members of their own Olin S. Wright Masonic Lodge.

This year's honors featured community recognitions for a police officer, teacher and school resource officer, as well as internal recognitions for Master Mason of the Year and an honor for a mason with 40 years of Service.

Plant City Police Department Detective John W. McDowell received honors for Police Officer of the Year and Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Deputy Griffin Morris was honored as School Resource Officer of the Year. Glynis L. Belin, a teacher at Dowdell Middle School received the Teacher of the Year recognition. 

Lodge member Moises Rosado was presented with Mason of the Year and Robert Franklin Ray was honored for 40 years of membership.
