Eighty-six kids in five different age groups competed in the NFL Punt, Pass & Kick competition Sept. 28, at Otis M. Andrews Sports Complex.
The Optimist Club hosted the free event for the 20th season and opened it up to both their flag football players and any child present at the complex. Boys and girls ages 6 to 15 were allowed to compete, but younger children were allowed to participate in the drills for fun.
The first-place winners from each age group will compete in an NFL PP&K event at a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game.
