Call it initiation or a show stopping introduction, new teachers led by the principal of their schools put on funny skits, sang catchy tunes and danced on stage with animal mascots during the new teacher coffee at the Expo Building on the Florida Strawberry Festival Grounds this morning.
Breakfast was served. Prize packages that included treats like spa treatments and hair products were given away to new teachers in a raffle.
The coffee was hosted by the Plant City Chamber of Commerce with five major sponsors; American Ambulance Service, Bright House Networks, the Florida Strawberry Festival and Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union.
