Plant City residents gathered to celebrate American warriors Friday, Nov. 11, in honor of Veterans Day.
Hopewell Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens presented the 31st Annual Veterans Day: Honoring Those Who Served program Nov. 11 at Veteran's Monument Park in Plant City.
The program, which was a joint partnership between Hopewell and the City of Plant City, featured a brick dedication, a recognition of women in military and speakers from area elementary, middle and high schools. The Springhead Elementary School chorus also performed.
