Learn Tampa Bay hosted a Hispanic Heritage Festival Saturday, Oct. 17, at the John R. Trinkle Center. Guests were able to eat authentic cuisine and play games, such as musical chairs, ring toss and Spanish bingo. The event was a fundraiser for Learn Tampa Bay, a nonprofit based in Plant City that teaches students to read and aides with homework assignments. It also tutors parents who speak English as a second language.
