The Florida Strawberry Festival’s Mosaic Youth Swine Show was held in the Patterson Livestock Arena on Thursday, March 3. FFA and 4-H members showed their swine in front of judges based on weight classes.
Showmanship winners were selected based on how well the youth presented their animals. Cole Hanson won senior showmanship, followed by Julianne Ream in the intermediate division and Shalee Conrad in the junior division.
Emma Stephens, a member of Tomlin Middle School’s FFA, showed the Grand Champion swine at the show. Her pig weighed 284 pounds. Antioch Critters 4-H Club member Shalee Conrad’s pig earned the Reserve Grand Champion title.
