On your mark, get set, stem those berries! Fifteen contestants competed in the Adult Strawberry Stemming Contest at the Florida Strawberry Festival on Tuesday, March 8. Three heats were done with five contestants each. The winners of each round went on to compete in a final round.
The final round led to a tiebreaker round, which Sharon Detweiler won. Detweiler was given a trophy and chocolate-covered strawberries as a prize.
