First Baptist Church of Plant City hosted the ninth annual Easter Festival and Egg Drop Saturday, March 28. In the morning, children and their families enjoyed a wide variety of games, as well as snacks, face painting, bounce houses and more. Through the woods, there was a Trail of Miracles for both English and Spanish speakers, where church volunteers dressed as biblical figures and acted out the scenes of Jesus’ miracles.
At noon, a helicopter scattered about 50,000 Easter eggs throughout the fields. Shortly after, children were released to stuff their bags with as many eggs as they could hold.
