The Durant football team’s season came to a bitter end last week with a 21-14 thriller against district rival Newsome. The loss eliminated the Cougars from the playoffs and ended their season with an 11-1 overall record, in what was the most successful season in school history.
The Plant City Observer was there for the playoff games with Tampa Bay Tech and Newsome, and as a tribute to the historic season for the Cougars, we look back at some of the best photos from those games.
Altogether, Durant will lose 23 seniors listed on their roster.
