On Friday night, Payton Astin became Durant High School’s new Homecoming Queen.
Astin and five of her fellow seniors each vied for the 2014 crown, which was passed on by 2013 Queen Marissa Thompson. The 2014 Homecoming King will be named at Saturday’s dance.
