Plant City Community Chorale performed “Songs for a New Day” Saturday, Jan. 31, at First Presbyterian Church. The diverse repertoire in this performance ranged from American folk, to a jazz-themed lullaby, to a Spanish-inspired piece and more. In addition to the 15 chorale members and accompanist, the performance featured even the rhythmic sounds of a cajon on one piece.
