Every second Tuesday of the month, the Plant City Christian Women’s Connection meets for lunch, music and a speaker. The group has gathered in the Walden Lake community for almost 20 years, but recently was forced to find a new location. Their first meeting at the Plant City Elks Lodge was Sept. 2. “It’s different–it’s smaller. But I feel like we’re closer and can fellowship better,” said chairwoman Diane Kennedy.
